Flying over Never Land just became a reality at another Disney Park!

Fantasy Springs is nearly ready to debut at Tokyo DisneySea and we were so excited, we just had to check it out early! Tokyo DisneySea’s brand-new eighth port features three new lands — Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Never Land. If you’re especially curious about the rides in Peter Pan’s Never Land, you’ve come to the right place, as we have all the details!
We are IN TOKYO previewing Fantasy Springs, including the all-new Peter Pan’s Never Land, where we rode the land’s main attraction — Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure!

This 3D dark ride has riders Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the Lost Kids on an adventure to rescue John from Captain Hook and his crew of pirates.

We must be getting close to the Lost Kids camp!

You don 3D glasses for this one!

Here’s a look at the ride queue…

…and the ride vehicles. Imagineers told us this ride vehicle was designed to actually make you “feel like you’re flying,” and they did just that!
There is SO MUCH new tech and innovation in this ride! The vehicle has a three-dimensional surround sound system, and the Peter Pan music has been rearranged especially for the ride.

The ride designers told us they used special UV paints to blend the media and scenery — so they are completely in sync. Quincy said it is SUPER immersive, and you literally never see the edge of a screen!

Emma said the ride is similar to the Transformers: The Ride at Universal Orlando, with a touch of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. There were no animatronics on this ride.
“I’ve never seen 3D look like this,” Quincy said. The ride is trackless, and overall, Emma said it is “beautiful, wonderful, amazing, but not necessarily re-inventing the wheel as far as a ride goes.”

Overall, the ride was really, really cool!
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure is just the first of two rides opening with the land. In Pixie Hollow, Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies is a family-friendly dark ride that has riders explore the fairy valley and its changing seasons.
