Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Will Be DIFFERENT In 2024 — Here’s How

There seems to be one event at Disney World that everyone is buzzing about right now. Since we’re inching closer into the spring season, it seems everyone’s ready to breeze right through spring, past summer, and hurry up to fall!

Hey, Mickey!

While questions like “when will tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party go on sale?” have already started popping up (especially when we started seeing little hints of Disney World making preparations for the party), we thought we’d take a little different approach and tell you a few ways in which we think this year’s party will look a bit DIFFERENT!

If you have gone to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party each year, you probably have a certain level of comfort around what’s typically offered at this party. Sure, we know to expect things like merchandise to change from year to year but there are a lot of changes that could already be lined up for this year.

Let’s take a look at all the ways this year’s event could be different than it has been in the past!

New Rides and Attractions

There are a fewchanges we know will be available in Magic Kingdom by the time fall rolls around for spooky season. From Disney World’s own timeline, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening this summer, so we hope this is a ride that will be included around the park during the parties.

Additionally, we might also get nighttime showings of the reimagined Country Bear Jamboree during the parties instead of just treat stops, since it will be so new.

But then again, we wouldn’t mind a few extra places to trick or treat!

New Villains To Chill With

One of the biggest draws to these parties is the chance to see some of your favorite Disney villains, and last year we were introduced to a new one with Wish.

King Magnifico became one of those Disney characters we love to hate in one of Disney’s latest hit animated films. There’s a good chance we could see him make an appearance of some kind when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties roll back around this year.

Slight Changes To Mickey’s Boo To You Parade

Last year we got a scary good treat seeing Minnie, Clarabelle, and Daisy dressed up as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus in Mickey’s Boo To You Parade.

Every few years, we spot slight changes in the parade float and characters that may only be apparent to the trained eye (read that as the MNSSHP-obsessed). So it stands to reason, that it would be good to keep a watchful eye on this year’s parade for any further changes.

New Eats & Treats

Each year Disney World offers party-exclusive eats and treats that help enhance your experience for the evening.

While we wouldn’t mind seeing a few returning favorites, we also wouldn’t be opposed to being introduced to several new concoctions that will keep us intrigued!
