This week has been a HUGE week for Disney Parks news, specifically for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! On February 13th, (the official day of Mardi Gras!) Disney announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is going to open in the Summer of 2024 — EARLIER than we expected!
Things seem to be almost complete, as we have MORE news regarding the new attraction thanks to our friends at Disney Food Blog and one of their viewers!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was testing ride flumes just yesterday! Yep, you know things are gettin’ real when they start TESTING the ride to see how it’ll actually operate.

According to this video, the log flumes are being run and tested! The Bayou being filled with water is huge news and we’re really excited to see the ride as it progresses even more. The attractions are required to go under a series of testing. They’ll test the vehicles without people in them, then with “dummies” of different weights, and then with humans!
