Is a NEW Restaurant Coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort? We Have a BIG Clue!

There are a few Disney hotels that are under construction right now and will continue to be in 2024.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort

One of these hotels is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, which is adding on a new DVC (Disney Vacation Club) building, but it now appears that there could be ANOTHER new addition coming to the hotel!

The new DVC building is coming along very well and seems to be on track to open sometime in 2024.

Construction update

However, we recently noticed a new gazebo structure being constructed, and when we asked a Polynesian Resort Cast Member what it could be, we were told it might be part of a new restaurant! Note that Disney has not confirmed a new restaurant is coming to the hotel, but it sounds like an interesting possibility. Perhaps it will be reminiscent of the old Spirit of Aloha dinner show that used to live at this resort!

Again, Disney has not announced anything specific about a new restaurant coming to the DVC building, so we’re not sure what to expect quite yet, but regardless, we’re really looking forward to learning more.

It’s massive!

As you can see, the hotel is still very much a work in progress. But it’s coming along! The windows have been installed, and we see what looks to be a large stairwell off to the left.
