5 Festive Things To Do in Disney’s Blizzard Beach

Blizzard Beach and the winter holidays just make sense together.

The winter wonderland-themed water park is the perfect place to catch some rays on a winter day. And now, there are five fun holiday activities that you can do after your trip around the lazy river (and look for festive additions while floating Castaway Creek)!

If you want to get into the holiday spirit while playing in the waves, head over to Disney’s Blizzard Beach!

From park open until 12:30 PM you can stop and meet Santa now through December 24th! He’ll be meeting parkgoers near Sonny’s Sleds–which is by the park entrance.

If you’re looking for some festive holiday snacks, stop by the Lottawatta Lodge and other food locations to try their seasonal delights such as the Peppermint Milkshake!

You can also relax on a lazy float down Cross Country Creek in a festive holiday tube! Be on the lookout for other festive decorations as you wander down the heated spring.

If you don’t just want to eat your festive treats but decorate them, too, then head to Lottawatta Lodge where you can buy a gingerbread cookie decorating kit for $10.99! Make your cookies as festive as you want them before tasting them.

And if you need a quick break from the water, try out the Holiday Scavenger Hunt with your family! There are two variations of the scavenger hunt map– one through Tike’s Peak and another for Ski Patrol Training Camp. You can pick your map for the holiday-themed adventure by the Lost Children Hut on Friday-Sundays now through December 21st and every day from December 22nd through December 31st.
