Why This Random January Date Is Important for Magic Kingdom Fans

One of the most fun things about visiting Disney World during the holidays is seeing some of the holiday overlays on rides.

Jingle Cruise

Granted, some of those overlays are ONLY available during the separate ticketed events, but others are available throughout the day like the Living with the Land holiday overlay in EPCOT, as well as  the Jungle Cruise overlay, Jingle Cruise in Magic Kingdom. Well, we now know how long Jingle Cruise is sticking around.

If you visit the Disney World website, you might notice that Jungle Cruise and Jingle Cruise are listed as two separate attractions. If you look at the dates, Jingle Cruise is showing its last times on January 8th.

There’s nothing listed for January 9th.

Likewise, Jungle Cruise is not showing times for January 8th…

but it is showing times again on January 9th. So we can guess that this means that Jingle Cruise will be available through January 8th but will return to Jungle Cruise on January 9th.

So if you want to catch the holiday-themed Jingle Cruise, you have about a week into the New Year to see it. It really is a lot of fun. You’ll see the overlay as soon as you step into the queue.

Let’s go wassailing!

Some of the scenes on the ride have a more festive look and feel to them. Plus the skippers have some new holiday jokes for you to groan at.
