EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival is officially underway.
We were there on opening day and reviewed every booth. You can participate in Remy’s Hide and Squeak to earn a prize or collect stamps for the cheese crawl for a sweet treat. But it can be a long day with the festival so you want to be prepared.
We asked our readers “What are your must-haves in your park bag for a day at an EPCOT Festival?” and we’re sharing their answers with you. Friends help friends — am I right?
Many readers said “water bottle” is a must have in their park bag for a festival day. It can get hot and with walking around the World Showcase, you’ll want to stay hydrated so you can enjoy the festival. We recommend packing a water bottle like these Disney ones from Simple Modern on Amazon.
These 22 oz bottles come in a few different Disney designs. They are stainless steel and insulated so it will keep your water cool all day long.
A few readers pointed out that you will need your ID for purchasing alcoholic beverages from the festival booths. You can pack it in a smaller wallet inside of your bag for easy access. This Disney Snack Loungefly Wallet is a great option for holding your ID, cards and cash for all your festival needs.
It has 7 card slots, a cash pocket and a change section with a zipper. This can keep everything you need organized in your bag.
If you’ve been to a festival, you’ll know its important to bring sunscreen. Many of our readers suggested throwing it in your bag. You can grab a Sunscreen Face Stick like this one from Sun Bum.
This won’t take up a lot of space in your park bag and it’s easy to apply without getting your hands dirty. This is perfect for long days in the sun.
Our readers are smart, and they aren’t willing to waste any festival food. A few mentioned bringing food containers in your bag to take leftovers home with you. This 4 Pack of containers from Amazon are a good option.
These have small compartments inside of them to divide up food. Eating at the festival is great, but what’s even better is having left overs to snack on in your Disney hotel.
A few of our readers wrote in that they bring reusable silverware to help reduce their plastic use at the festival. These are also helpful so you don’t have to track them down from the booths when your hands are full with food. This 4 Pack of Reusable Silverware from Amazon is a good choice.
Each come with a pair of chopsticks, perfect for the sushi roll in Japan, a fork, knife and spoon. They come in a carrying case as well and each one is a different color to help you know who’s is who’s.
Eating and drinking around the world can get messy. A reader shared that they “pack wet wipes to help clean their hands, tables, silverware and more.” You can grab a 3 pack of Wet Wipes on Amazon.
These can be very helpful to have to keep things clean. They are light weight and are easy to throw in your park bag.
