SNEAK PEEK at Disney's New 'Coco' Restaurant

Disney is constantly adding new things to the parks, and we’re certainly not complaining!

Like any other Disney fans, we get excited to check out new additions, like the Toy Story-themed Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios or the upcoming Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana attraction in EPCOT. But every once in a while, we’re tempted to buy a plane ticket after Disney announces a new addition — and that’s exactly the case with a new Disney restaurant!

Disney announced a few months ago that they would be building a new Coco-themed restaurant in Disneyland Paris. The Mexican-themed restaurant Fuente Del Oro in Frontierland will soon transform into Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia. It will “features Miguel’s passion for music and love for his family,” and should open this summer.

But now, Disney has shared a first look at some of the preparations for the restaurant! Imagineers are still working backstage to put together props and set pieces, and Disney shared a video on TikTok of the process.

One of the iconic props that you’ll find in the music room of the restaurant is Hector Rivera’s guitar. The video shows Imagineers working to recreate the design.

There will be plenty of touches throughout the restaurant that fans of the movie will appreciate, and the various rooms of the restaurant will have different themes. We’ll be excited to see it all put together!
