How You Can Avoid One of the LONGEST Character Lines in Disney World!

There are so many characters you can meet in Disney World.

We keep track of all the different meet and greets going on so you know when and where you can meet your favorite characters. Some of these meet and greets are VERY popular, though, meaning they may take up a lot of your park day. One meet and greet over in Animal Kingdom specifically has a pretty long wait, but we may have just found a secret for getting around it.

Meeting Moana over in Animal Kingdom can sometimes be a 2-3 hour wait — she’s pretty popular! We’ve recommended getting there right at the beginning of her day to try and avoid a long line, but you’re still looking at a long time waiting to say hello.

However, while we were walking by her meet and greet right before it was set to end at 4, a Cast Member was calling out to guests that she had a short line. They encouraged guests to get in line before the meet and greet officially closed.

We decided to follow their advice and only waited 10 MINUTES in line! That’s a HUGE difference from the normal wait time.

So with that being said, we suggest heading over to her meet and greet area right before it’s set to close to see if the line is shorter. This may not always be the case, but it’s worth a try! As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news.
