The party’s still going for Animal Kingdom’s 25th birthday!
We saw how Animal Kingdom’s birthday festivities started with new entertainment, snacks, and more. Now, Disney has revealed another way they’ve honored the park’s past while celebrating its future.
Over the past 25 years, Animal Kingdom has seen so many new additions like baby animals and the addition of Pandora – The World of AVATAR. To mark this occasion, Disney Cast Members recently opened a time capsule at the park, revealing its contents in a fun video that we can’t wait to share with you.

Inside the time capsule were a variety of items from 25 years ago, including floppy disks, VHS tapes, stickers, license plates, maps, and more! It’s incredible to see how far Animal Kingdom has come in just a quarter of a century, and we can’t wait to see what the next 25 years will bring.
