Important Date Revealed for Disney's NEW Vacation Club Villas

Something NEW is coming to Disneyland Resort soon!

Actually, the Resort will become home to a few new things soon including new restaurants in Downtown Disney, a new Disney Vacation Club Lounge, and a new After Dark event. But it’ll also soon have a brand new Disney Vacation Club property called The Villas at Disneyland Hotel and we’ve got a big update!

Disney already shared when reservations for the Villas would start, but now we’ve got more news. Disney has revealed that sales will be starting soon for the NEW Disney Vacation Club property at Disneyland Resort — The Villas at Disneyland Hotel.

Here are the dates you need to know:

Sales open to current Disney Vacation Club Members: May 2nd
Sales open to all others: May 30th

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will open on September 28th.

Online you can see the points charts for these Villas. For example, in 2023, travel from Sunday-Thursday between September 28th and September 30th is 13 points per night for a Duo Studio (standard view), while the 3-bedroom grand villa is 120 points per night. Here’s the full chart for 2023.

Here’s a look at the chart for 2024. Again, you can see the points required for each room type based on the time of year and the days of the week you plan to visit.

Wondering what the Villas will look like? Well, they’ll be housed in a new tower that’ll have over 340 rooms.

There will be different types of rooms available including duo studios, deluxe studios, 1-bedroom villas, 2-bedroom villas, and grand villas that are multi-level. Each room will have decorations inspired by classic Disney films.

In the duo studio, you’ll find decorations themed to The Jungle Book. The room has a split bathroom and a queen-size bed that tucks into the wall.

The deluxe studios, on the other hand, will be themed to Sleeping Beauty or The Princess and the Frog. These have a kitchenette, split bathroom, and 2 queen-size beds.

The 1-bedroom villas can sleep up to 5 guests, while the 2-bedroom villas can sleep up to 9 guests. These villas have more amenities including a full-size kitchen, a living area, a sofa that can be pulled down to reveal a queen-size bed, and a main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (complete with a soaking tub!). In these rooms, you’ll find a mural above the pull-down sofa that’ll be themed to The Princess and the Frog or Fantasia.

And finally, there are 3-bedroom grand villas that are multi-level and can sleep up to 12 people! Here’s a break-down of what you’ll find:

First floor:
- full-size kitchen
- dining area
- double-sided fireplace
- private outdoor balcony
- primary suite inspired by Bambi
Spiral staircase
Upper level
- full-size washer and dryer
- 1 bedroom themed to Frozen
- 1 bedroom themed to Moana
- each bedroom on the upper level has 2 queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms

But wait, there’s MORE. If you stay at the Villas, you’ll also get to enjoy a new pool, splash pad, and pool bar. So be sure to mark those calendars for when sales open!
