When you’re planning a Disney World vacation, there are a lot of things you need to prepare for.

You need to plan out your dining reservations, your hotel, and how you’ll be getting there. You need to decide whether you’ll be using Genie+, or if you want to grab a Park Hopper. One thing you may not be planning for, however, are ride closures.
We’ve shared with you the rides that broke down the most in Magic Kingdom this year, and now we’re heading over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to do the same!

As the runner-up, the ride that broke down the second most this year was Expedition Everest.

The fan-favorite roller coaster ride went down 126 days, and a total of 176 times.

And the winner (well…) of the ride with the MOST break downs in Disney’s Animal Kingdom was DINOSAUR!

Dinosaur down on 179 days, a total of 249 times. This may come as no surprise for those that keep up with the AllEars wait times, as the ride is notorious for frequent temporary closures.

So, you may be wondering what to do when a ride goes down in Disney World. Well, the first thing is first — it’s important to note that temporary closures are very common for the rides, and more often than not they will be back up and running before you know it.

However, it’s always good to be prepared. That means if you are looking to go on a ride, make sure you check the current status on My Disney Experience before heading over. This can also be a great way to catch the ride with a short wait if you’re able to get on right after it reopens!

If you have an Individual Attraction Selection reservation for a ride that goes down, you’ll get an Experience Redemption to come back and get into line once the ride opens back up again.

What is your favorite ride in Animal Kingdom? Let us know in the comments!
Yes, but Everest was closed for about 2 months or so at the beginning of the year, so I bet it would take the #1 spot.
