The Latest Construction Changes for the DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

It’s time for more construction news!

Polynesian Village Resort Christmas Tree

Big changes are happening over at the Moana: Journey of Water construction site in EPCOT, and Disney announced construction has finally begun on the Cake Bake Shop as well. When we rode by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on the monorail, we got a look at the newest changes to the construction of the DVC tower being built.

When we checked last month, we had started to see some construction vehicles on site, but not too many. The whole area was still dirt, with a few construction pieces laying around. Now though? EVERYTHING has changed.

Look at all that!

TONS of construction vehicles and personnel are on the site working hard, including a crane.

We’re also starting to see actual structures being built on the property as well, instead of it just looking like dirt moving from one area of the site to another.

A structure!

There is still a massive pile of dirt to be seen, but it’s grown much larger since we last saw it.

LOTS of dirt

It seems construction on this site has really started moving along, so we’re very excited to see the progress as these DVC Villas continue to come to life. We’re keeping a close eye on all the latest construction, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars!
