VIDEO: The New Disney Fireworks Show You Might NEVER See!

There are a lot of exciting (and NEW) things happening in the Disney Parks, but it’s not just Disney World and Disneyland — it’s also the international parks!

Hong Kong Disneyland recently began its phased reopenining after having to close once again due to COVID-19 concerns back in April. That didn’t stop Disney from sharing some exciting looks at what guests can experience once they’re back in the park! We’ve seen a behind-the-scenes look at the park’s new fireworks show, “Momentous“ and now, Disney has posted the first clip from the nighttime show!

Hong Kong Disneyland’s new fireworks show “Momentous” is said to take guests on a journey through 6 chapters of life via the lens of some of our favorite Disney characters at various stages of their lives — around 150 Disney characters (!!) to be exact! You can expect to see characters from movies like Peter Pan, Frozen, Zootopia, Coco, Up, and Tangled throughout the show.

The show combines projection mapping, water projections, theatrical lighting, lasers, choreographed water fountains, flames, pyrotechnics, and firework effects to bring this magnificent show to life. You can get a peek at all the new tricks that Disney has up their sleeve for the show and some of the characters you’ll see in the video below!

At its heart, Disney has said that “Momentous” is meant to remind guests to celebrate each stage of life and cherish being with loved ones.

Momentous will debut in Hong Kong Disneyland in mid-June of 2022.
