There are many ways to save other than stated discounts. And the examples you cite at Disney Springs are for happy hour alcohol discounts. How will that help a family of 4? Here are some ways to save money: First buy a smaller park pass. Instead of a, say, seven day pass, buy a four day and spend time at the pool or doing other things like exploring Orlando. Meals: Order groceries or just bring stuff in your luggage and eat in the room before you head out for the day. Skip lunch and have a snack instead. At the parks most sit down restaurants have cheaper prices for lunch than dinner. So eat your dinner during late lunch hours and spend dinner riding rides when others are in the restaurants. Also counter service is far cheaper and faster than sit down. As to souvenirs: set limits on how much stuff (“You have $100 each for t shirts and the like. Also walk right through the shops at the exit to rides. Don’t stop to ‘browse’. Schedule shopping time rather than have it be a constant part of each day. If you have in mind what you want such as a particular ride t- shirt or a hat or a Christmas decoration or something to add to your growing collection such as coffee mugs or kitchen/bathroom items, try to decide before you get there what you want. Who goes shopping with no list and comes away controlling what they buy? There are lots of ways to keep your costs down beside trying to get a reservation in a restaurant for 10% off.
