We’ve been going to Disney World for a LONG time…and in that time, we’ve tried a LOT of delicious treats.
We’re talking more than just Mickey bars, folks — real, high-quality desserts and snacks that leave us daydreaming at work two weeks later! Since the pandemic, some of our favorite sweets have been missing from the parks (due to supply issues and whatnot), but we hold out hope that they’ll eventually come back. And today, we got an update on one popular treat!
We like to check the Disney World restaurant menus frequently for any changes, and this morning, we were rewarded with a BIG update at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom. The popular Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is BACK on the menu for $6.99!
We spotted this listing in both the My Disney Experience app and the Disney World website, but when we showed up at the restaurant to order, it wasn’t on the menu board there. We tried ordering it at the counter, but both Cast Members we checked with said that it was unavailable.
The treat is made with a small pineapple upside-down cake topped with your choice of Pineapple Dole Whip, vanilla soft-serve, or a swirl of both. This was a very popular snack here before the pandemic, so we hope it comes back soon! We’ll be on the lookout — checking the menu and the restaurant daily — so stay tuned to AllEars for an update.
