For many Disney World guests, stepping off the airplane at Orlando International Airport is the official beginning of their vacation.

And it doesn’t look like that’s going to change any time soon. Not only is the Orlando International Airport (MCO) undergoing construction on a brand new terminal, but it was also named one of the busiest airports in the United States. After a long stretch of canceled flights, things might be finally getting back to normal at MCO as it just saw one of its busiest weekends ever!

According to Yahoo News, the Orlando Airport just had its busiest weekend in THREE years thanks to the Spring Break and Easter passengers who traveled through the hub this past weekend. Security lines were back up all the way to the food court at one point.

One passenger shared, “All the years we’ve been coming to Orlando for Disney — this is the longest we’ve ever seen.” Airport officials have previously shared that the Spring Break and Easter travel season is the busiest the Orlando Airport sees, and this year is certainly no different.

Looks pretty crowded!

Last year, 5.2 million passengers traveled through MCO, while this year nearly 7.4 million travelers are expected to pass through the seventh busiest airport in the United States.
