The Longest Line at Magic Kingdom is in the MOST Unexpected Place

We’ve seen our share of lines at Disney World, although they’re usually for rides. We once saw Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with a three-hour wait!

But sometimes we see lines for other things — earlier today, there was a MASSIVE line for the EPCOT Festival of the Arts Figment Popcorn Bucket. But over at Magic Kingdom, we spotted another line for…cinnamon rolls?

When we headed over to Fantasyland this morning, we were shocked to see a long line at Gaston’s Tavern — surely, EVERYONE didn’t want one of those delicious cinnamon rolls, right? Look at this line!

When we spoke with a Cast Member, we were told that the only reason they could think of was that they’re selling Hot Cocoa today (which only appears on menus when the weather is a little chilly). But from our observations, we didn’t see a lot of guests ordering hot cocoa. Guess everyone wanted to start their morning off like Gaston?

Also, we noticed that all three counters at the dining spot were open and staffed, so that wasn’t the issue either. Overall, we waited around 18 minutes to reach a counter, but when we got there, we received our order quickly. So who knows? Maybe we all just woke up this morning with a craving for a cinnamon roll. We guess we can chalk it up to another Disney World mystery…
