We love getting the chance to check out new experiences opening up around Disney World!

Today, we’re at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for a preview of Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen, which officially opens tomorrow, December 3rd!
This tropical-themed restaurant can be found at the former location of Hemingway’s, and it will serve both nightly dinners and Sunday brunches.

The name was inspired by the “four species of flamingos that are native to the Americas and the bird’s tendency to gather and feast in groups.”

Blais was featured as the first winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars and will co-star alongside Gordon Ramsay on the FOX cooking competition, Next Level Chef.

The menu features food inspired by local Florida ingredients like stone crab, signature steak cuts, citrus flavors, Mahi Mahi, and more!

Sample from the menu were available for attendees to try!

As for the design of the restaurant, Blais noted that he wanted it to have a vintage Florida vibe, which comes across in the decor of the restaurant as well as the glassware on your table. They even have some Hemingway books on the shelves to pay homage to the locations previous occupant.

This is a beautiful restaurant, and we could tell that Chef Blais was involved in every step of the way in bringing this new dining spot to life! Be sure to check it out if you’re staying at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress soon! Follow along for more of the latest dining updates from around Disney World.
