‘Turner & Hooch’ CANCELLED on Disney+ After One Season

The Mandalorian, documentaries, new Marvel shows, and more — there is a LOT to watch on Disney+.

Disney+ Day!

Some Disney+ series have been limited to a single season, but others have been renewed for a second season or more. One of Disney+’s newest shows, however, won’t be getting another season on the streaming service.

According to Collider, Disney+ has cancelled the Turner & Hooch series after one season. The show was a “legacy sequel” to the 1989 film, which featured Josh Peck and others.

In the show, Josh Peck’s character, U.S. Marshal Scott Turner Jr (who is meant to be the son of the original Scott Turner) inherits a bit of an unruly dog and realizes “the dog he didn’t want may be the partner he needs.”

The new series was announced back in 2020. We shared a behind-the-scenes look at the show in May of this year and it premiered on Disney+ in July of 2021.

Though a season 2 won’t be in the books for this show, if you want to check out the show for yourself, you can watch ALL of season 1 on Disney+ right now.

There are lots of other things coming to Disney+ in the future, including an Ahsoka Tano show, The Book of Boba Fett, and more. Be sure to check back with us for all of the latest updates.
