UPDATE on the Filming For Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'

Over the past year, there have been a lot of ways to get your Marvel fix.

New series like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki have made their way to Disney+ and the movies have even returned to the big screen. And, there’s only more to come! And, while fans who are looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 still have a little while before they can see it in 2023, we do have an exciting update!

Today, James Gunn (who is the film’s director and writer) shared an update on his Instagram account noting that today was the FIRST day of shooting for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3! In the Polaroid-style picture, you can see Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and Sean Gunn who are all returning to reprise their roles.

Gunn had previously teased that filming for the movie would begin sometime this year and now we’ve got confirmation!

The plot of the film hasn’t been released just yet, but we can’t wait to see what the group is up to when they return to the big screen on May 5th, 2023. And, we’ll keep an eye out for more updates in the meantime, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
