If you’re visiting Disney World for the 50th anniversary, chances are you are trying at least ONE of the new treats!

Disney recently released a full list of over 150 treats that were coming to the parks for the BIG anniversary celebration. So, that means there are lots of treats to try — big and small — and we just snagged a real cutie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

At the Anadapur Ice Cream Truck in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll find the KiteTails Sundae! This sweet treat is inspired by the brand new daytime show that’s arrived in the park. So, of course we had to check it out!

The treat is made with strawberry and lemon-flavored soft-serve swirled together and topped with a white chocolate medallion inspired by none other than the swinging King Louie! While it’s totally adorable, do its looks live up to the taste?

Vanilla and chocolate are two staple flavors in Disney World. But, the strawberry and lemon duo was a refreshing twist that was a nice break from our regular picks! The strawberry ice cream was a lot thicker, making it hold up super well. Plus, the sweet strawberry flavor was complemented wonderfully by the tart lemon ice cream.

We would have loved a little bit of chocolate to curb the fruity flavors and round out the treat. Still, the KiteTails Sundae would be a great treat to snack on while you watch the new show!
