Disney World hotel guests get several perks, like free Disney transportation and earlier access to dining reservations.
And, while Disney has discontinued Extra Magic Hours since reopening last year, a new perk is coming for hotel guests to replace it — Early Theme Park Entry. Disney had previously announced that it would begin on October 1st, but it looks like it will be rolling out even sooner!
According to an email sent to guests with Disney World hotel stays, Early Theme Park Entry will begin BEFORE the 50th Anniversary on September 26th!
If you’re not familiar, Early Theme Park Entry will enable guests staying at any Disney World hotel (or other select hotels) to enter all four theme parks 30-minutes before the park is set to open every day.
So how will Disney know that you’re a resort guest and can enter early when you arrive at the park? Well, once you’re at the entrance there will be new “Early Entry for Participating Hotels” signs directing guests to the appropriate locations where they can scan into the park. Just keep in mind that you will still need a valid theme park ticket and park pass reservation for that day.
Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates and share with you all the tips and tricks for maximizing your early entry time, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for more!
