And there has been a lot of Disney news this week, but don’t worry if you missed anything. We’ve put together a list of the top stories so that you can stay in the know.

Rise of the Resistance to Stop Using Boarding Passes

Maybe the biggest story of the week was Disney’s announcement that Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios would stop using boarding passes soon. Starting on September 23rd, the ride will switch to a standby line system, which means guests no longer have to obtain a boarding pass via the My Disney Experience app before riding.

You’ll soon be able to ride this without a boarding pass

However, guests wanting to skip the line will be able to do so with Individual Attraction Selection — this service, though, will be offered for an additional charge to guests who wish to use it. However, Disney has not confirmed when this service will become available.
