EPCOT is going to be looking a little bit different in the coming month!
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary is set to kick off on October 1st and the park will be filled with new experiences like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris in the France Pavilion, plus, there will even be a brand new fireworks show to enjoy each evening. But, before we even reach October, a highly anticipated restaurant will open and we’ve finally got a peek at the menu!
Space 220 is set to open on September 20th and will transport guests 220 miles above the earth to enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience in space. The restaurant will feature all kinds of cool things like Disney’s first-ever “space elevator” and panoramic views, and now we know what you’ll be able to EAT there too!
Guests will be able to dine here for a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner and here’s what the menu will feature!
For lunch, guests will choose one appetizer (also known as Lift-Offs) and one entree (aka Star Course) for $55 per person. For starters, the menu features dishes like Starry Calamari and Nuptuna Tartare…
…and for entrees, you’ll find a selection of fish, burgers, and more. Plus, you can even order a “Space Station Special” called the Galactic Lobster Globe for an extra $18.
And, you can customize your lunch even further with a variety of sides…
…and cocktails, beers, and wines. Just keep in mind that these will all be an extra cost.
For dinner, the three-course meal will include one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert (also known as Supernova Sweets) and will cost $79 per person. Appetizer selections will remain the same for both lunch and dinner…
…but the entree selection will be completely different with dishes like X2 Duck, Filet Mignon, and two dishes that are available at an extra cost.
And, for dessert, guests can choose between FIVE different options including Carrot Cake, Chocolate Cheesecake, Lemon Mousse, and more.
Of course, you’ll still be able to order up any of the cocktails, beers, or wines that were available with lunch as well.
If you’re traveling to Space 220 with kiddos, there will also be a smaller menu available for them at both lunch (which will cost $29 per child)…
…and dinner (which will also cost $29 per child).
Plus, if you purchase any of the Zero-Proof cocktails (the Lightyear Lemonade, The Milky Way, or Moon Rocks), it will come in a Space 220 Collectible Cup. Plus, you’ll receive a pack of Space 220 Collectible Trading Cards that are exclusive to the restaurant and feature “original artwork and trivia facts about space exploration, food in space, and the sky-high innovations at Space 220 Restaurant.”
And, lastly, if you prefer to forego a reservation and a full meal, you can also stop by the Space 220 Lounge which will have a selection of small bites, cocktails, beer, and wine.
Disney has shared that Space 220 will be available for walk-ins from September 20th to September 26th and reservations will be strongly recommended starting September 27th. You’ll be able to begin booking your reservations on September 20th and they’ll be available 60 days in advance after.
Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details on the new restaurant and bring you a first look inside, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for more!
