We learned a couple of days ago that Fireworks Dessert and Dining parties were coming back to Disney World.
These parties include a reserved spot to watch fireworks in Disney’s Magic Kingdom or EPCOT and either a selection of desserts (in the Magic Kingdom), a cocktail party (at Disney’s Contemporary Resort), or a full meal (in EPCOT) to enjoy while you watch. If you’ve been waiting to grab your spot at one of these events, we’ve got some BIG news for you!
Reservations are now open for all Fireworks Dessert Parties in the Magic Kingdom and the Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
The three Magic Kingdom dessert parties are Disney Enchantment Pre-Party, Disney Enchantment After Party, and Disney Enchantment Treats and Seats. All of these are located at the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant inside the Magic Kingdom. The first date you can book for these is October 3rd, 2021, and reservations are live to book those right now!
The Celebration at the Top is located at the California Grill restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It will have a cocktail party, small bites, desserts, and a reserved viewing spot. This party begins on October 2nd, 2021.
For all of these events, you can go online to the Disney World website or use My Disney Experience to book your reservations now! We had a little trouble getting some of the reservations, and even got the message that there were no reservations left at one point.
But we kept refreshing and trying different dates, and we were able to make reservation in the end! So if you’re not seeing any available dates (or if there isn’t a “check availability” button), we recommend that you keep trying and refreshing the page!
You can also chat online with a Disney World Cast Member (via the Disney World website), but we’re expecting that to be really busy right now since so many people want to make reservations. Keep following AllEars for more Disney World news!

If the fireworks dessert party was at the train station, I might consider it. But since none of the special effects on Main Street will be visible from any of the current locations for the dessert party (unless you turn your back to the castle fireworks), it is not worth the price for my family.
