BREAKING: Opening Timeline Announced for Disney World's Star Wars Hotel!

One of the most highly anticipated additions to Disney World is the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, otherwise known as the “Star Wars Hotel.”

But this is not your ordinary hotel. This multi-night immersive experience promises to be a “stay” unlike any other! And now, we finally know when the first guests will be able to check into the Halcyon!

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will officially open in Disney World in Spring 2022. We don’t have an EXACT date yet, but at least we now know what Disney’s timeline is for the interactive hotel experience.

Disney has also referred to the experience as something “that goes beyond anything Disney has created before.” The idea is to allow guests to become “the hero in their own Star Wars story.”

The hotel is a two-night, fully immersive experience located right next door to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests who stay here will feel like they are traveling across the galaxy, sort of like a cruise but in space. And one of your “ports of call” during your stay is Batuu, also known as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The “hotel” will allow guests loads of opportunities to live out their Star Wars dreams — they’ll be able to wield lightsabers, help the ship’s crew out on the bridge, eat and drink in fully immersive environments, and sleep in cabins that have views of space.
