NEWS: U.S. Will Not Be Lifting International Travel Restrictions Soon

There have been quite a few travel restrictions and regulations put in place over the last year and a half. 

We’ve seen a lot of travel rules!

From travel bans to health and safety guidelines, we’ve seen several changes in the way that we get from one place to another. And if you’re looking to do some international traveling, it looks like you may have to wait a little bit longer!

According to Reuters, the United States will not be lifting any existing travel restrictions for the time being due to concerns about the COVID-19 Delta variant. With the number of cases on the rise, White House officials have decided to stick with the current measures put in place.

This means that guests from many other countries outside the U.S. are still barred from visiting. Those on the list include most non-U.S. citizens who have been in the United Kingdom in the last two weeks, the 26 Schengen nations in Europe without border controls, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, Iran, and Brazil.

  1. Absolutely Ridiculous decision, Americans can travel outside the US but people from Europe can’t travel in. Double standards. Most people in Ireland are vaccinated to the hilt, so why not allow travel especially if a PCR test is neagitve. Life needs to move forward from Covid. We’re going to be living with this for years to come. We can’t stop travel or normal life because people thinks Bill Gates is 5G chipping you. Madness 😂😂
