There’s been A LOT going on in Disneyland recently, and we don’t mind one bit!
Along with the return of fireworks, popular rides will be reopening soon and character dining will start up again at select locations. But, that’s not everything that Disneyland is celebrating! Today, July 17th, is Disneyland’s 66th anniversary. And, the parks are going all out this weekend to ring in the occasion!
While you can celebrate with sweet treats in Disneyland, we were VERY excited to see a celebratory cavalcade along Main Street, U.S.A. for the anniversary!
The Disneyland Band started off the festivities with their incredible instrumentals as they marched down the street…
…before the double-decker vehicle filled with Disney characters and 66th anniversary decorations strolled past guests!
A group of fan-favorite characters and ones that are more rare walked alongside the car, including Genie…
…Jasmine and Aladdin…
…several Disney Princesses, Peter Pan’s group…
…Alice in Wonderland, Moana, and MORE!
But, it wouldn’t be a party without an appearance from Mickey Mouse! The mouse who started it all was wearing his best and most colorful suit to celebrate Disneyland’s anniversary…
…as he greeted guests who were happy to dance and sing along with him!
