There has been a lot happening in Disney World recently!

We’ve started to see some things go back to “normal”, as they were pre-closure. That’s right, restaurants, pre-shows, ketchup (we’ll explain that one in a sec) are all coming back! Just in case you’ve missed any of the returns this week, we gathered together everything that came back to Disney World this week!
Select Ride Pre-Shows
It’s been a BIG week for pre-shows in Disney World! Due to distancing and guidelines, most pre-shows have not been available since the parks reopened, but over the past week we’ve seen several return. We saw the Tower of Terror pre-show this week, complete with the lightning strikes and ominous narration! So the next time you check into a deserted hotel on the dark side of Hollywood, you’ll be able to see this classic pre-show again.

Right around the corner from Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster also got its pre-show back. Aerosmith was back to welcome guests and provide them with a stretch — no, a super stretch — limo to see the concert!

And if that weren’t enough for Disney’s Hollywood Studios attractions, one more pre-show returned, this one at Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. We saw Hondo Ohnaka again this week as he recruited guests for a smuggler’s mission in the iconic Millennium Falcon!

We’ll hop over to EPCOT for the next reopened “pre-show,” because Test Track is letting guests design their own cars again before boarding the ride to try their designs on the track. The design stations were previously left off, and guests would just walk through the rooms as part of the queue, but now you can design your own car to get the perfect balance of power, efficiency, responsiveness, and capability.

Last for the pre-show reopenings this week — and this one’s a biggie! — was the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom.

We were asked to move to the dead center again, and the haunted room was back to stretching!
Tusker House
In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we went to the newly reopened Tusker House to check out the restaurant.

This is a modified character dining spot, so Mickey and the gang were also back, walking through the rooms and greeting guests.

Check out the photos and reviews from our trip to read our thoughts on the newly reopened spot!
Boardwalk To Go
If you’re looking for a just a snack, though, you could stop by the newly reopened BoardWalk To Go stand! It’s a great place to grab a quick bite to eat on your way to or from the parks!

They offer BoardWalk classics like hot dogs, chicken tenders, and a whole bunch of different kinds of fries.
Self-Serve Condiment Stations
Remember how we said ketchup was coming back to Disney? Technically, it never left. What we meant was that now you can get your own again at the self-serve stations at some locations around Disney World.

Before, Cast Members provided you with condiments, but there these self-serve spots are coming back.
iGuana Arcade at Coronado
A few Disney World Resorts have arcades in their buildings for guests to enjoy after a long day in the parks. Though they were closed for a long time, we’ve seen a couple return, including the iGuana arcade at Coronado!

The Pixar Play Arcade at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the Fast Forward Arcade at Disney’s Pop Century Resort have also opened.
Maya Grill at Coronado
The Maya Grill at Coronado reopened this week! Maya Grill is an upscale restaurant where guests sit inside a Mayan temple to eat Mexican and Latin food.

We stopped by to check out the newly reopened restaurant and get some delicious Mexican food while we were there.

Sebastian’s Bistro at Caribbean Beach
Disney’s Caribbean Beach welcomed back Sebastian’s Bistro as well, which is a waterfront restaurant offering Latin and Caribbean dishes.

Of course we stopped in to try the new family-style menu!
