A lot has been changing in Disney World recently!
And, while many rides, restaurants, and hotels have reopened, we’ve still been waiting on more to announce their official opening date (including some fan-favorite spots). But, today we noticed that an underrated hotel activity is available once again!
It’s been a long while since we’ve seen hotel arcades open, but when we stopped by Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, we noticed that iGuana Arcade was back in business! So, of course, we took a look inside.
When you first enter, you’ll notice that there is additional safety signage and a station to grab sanitization wipes. Guests are also still required to wear their face masks and maintain distancing when inside, though beginning June 15th masks will be optional for fully vaccinated guests in most areas.
Almost all of the games have reopened with the arcade, so you can shoot some hoops…
…or test your motorcycle driving skills and more!
If you’ve never been to a Disney arcade, all you need to do is stop at one of the “Recharge Stations” and pay for Play Points. Each game costs a different amount of points, but you can always add more to your card as you go.
Over at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, the Fast-Forward Arcade has also reopened to guests.
There are games for visitors of all ages, whether your littlest ones want to take a car ride or your teenagers want to team up to snag a high score!
The Pixel Play Arcade is also open at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
The only hard part is choosing which game we want to play first!
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more reopening arcades! And, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and updates!
