We’ve been SUPER hyped ever since finding out that the Tusker House Restaurant would be reopening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on June 20th.

As our favorite safari-clad characters head back to the restaurant, reservations have already reopened for guests to book their visits. Unlike previous meals here, the food will be served family-style at Tusker House! And, we’re here to give you a look inside the newly reopened dining location!
Check-in
Check-in was easy and convenient! Just a click of a button on the My Disney Experience app and we were checked in!

We got a text message when our table was ready and we went right in!

The seating was still pretty spread out, and we didn’t see any tables that were marked as unavailable.
Breakfast
When breakfast kicks off in the morning, guests will have a Pastries Basket to start with Safari Bread, multigrain Croissants, and Cornbread served with Whipped Butter, Nutella, and Strawberry Preserves. There is also Fresh Fruit with Honey Yogurt Sauce available before the main course.

And, we hope you’re hungry because the morning meal features Breakfast Platter with a hearty helping of Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, Mickey and Simba-shaped Waffles, Bacon, Sausage, and Durban Chicken-Egg Curry with Jasmine Rice.

Here’s another look at the delicious breakfast! The menu also has various drinks like cocktails, mocktails, beer, hard cider, and hard seltzer.

Lunch/ Dinner
If you come in the afternoon or evening, though, there are more savory eats available for lunch and dinner at the Tusker House. Your dining experience starts off with house-made (vegan) breads that come with hummus, coriander, and mango chutneys…

…as well as African inspired salads with Kachumbari and Arcadian greens and a citrus vinaigrette dressing.

The main course comes with a platter full of Moroccan-spiced beef, spit-roasted herb chicken, Berber-marinated pork…

…and Cape Malay green curry shrimp…

…as well as sides like green beans with carrots and corn, roasted potatoes, jasmine rice, and the plant-based Impossible Durban curry (available upon request).

Oh, and we can’t forget that AMAZING house-made macaroni and cheese too!

And, to wrap up your meal, you can indulge in a trio of African-inspired desserts…

…with a vanilla buttercream Safari Cupcake…

…coffee and green tea Tree of Life Brownie…

…and flourless Honeybee Cake.

Characters
Tusker House is offering character dining right now! You can see characters like Donald…

…Daisy…

…Goofy…

…and Mickey in their safari outfits! How cute are they?!

Pricing
Breakfast starts at a prix-fixe price of $42 per adult and $27 per child, while lunch and dinner will have a prix-fixe cost of $55 per adult and $42 per child, plus tax and gratuity.

We can’t help but adore Tusker House even more now that we’ve returned! And, you can stay tuned with All Ears for a look at even more Disney news you need to know coming soon!
