PHOTOS: Health and Safety Measures Are Changing at Disney World Resort Pools!

Back when the Disney Resort hotels started to reopen last summer, they had some big health and safety changes.

At the time, some of those included mask requirements, contactless check-in, and an altered experience as resort pools. Now, we’re beginning to see some things go back to normal, and today we spotted one safety measure disappearing!

Previously, pool chairs at Disney Resorts were spaced out to promote physical distancing. You would find them spread out in small groups.

The chairs are close together again!

But today, on a visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, we noticed that the pool chairs were once again seated in one large group!

It’s so weird to see it back to normal.

Over at the pool at Kidani Village, the chairs were clumped together in small groups, but the groups were much closer to one another than they were before. Guests had already begun to claim their spots for the day.

They’re in groups, but the groups are pretty close together.

We’ll be looking out for this change at other pools around Disney World, and we’ll make sure to check out the swimming procedures to see how they’re different. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney World news!
