Even after opening its doors again, the Walt Disney Family Museum has been offering a variety of virtual programs due to the limited number of guests they can accommodate in-person currently. Programs range from online sessions with animators to talent agents, and even Imagineers. And, now the museum is accepting artwork for their next virtual community art exhibition.

Conserving the Magic of Our Planet: A Virtual Community Art Exhibition will highlight Walt’s passion for stories based on nature and the support for habitat conservation. Walt himself was a pioneer when it came to inspiring younger generations to protect the planet, hosting his own True Life Adventures series and other creative programs to bring more awareness to the public.

The exhibition will continue the work of Walt and highlight artistic talent focused on conservation efforts. Adult and Teen artists are encouraged to submit traditional artwork or original short films inspired by Earth Day.

The selected artwork will be made available to view for free on the museum’s website, debuting on April 22nd, 2021 (Earth Day). This art exhibition is another way that you can learn more about the history of Disney and the family that started it all!
