The Rivers were drained to allow Imagineers to do some refurbishment work on the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island. Recently, though, the waters returned!

And today, we saw the first signs that guests may get to visit Tom Sawyer Island again soon! We spotted one of the Tom Sawyer Island rafts on the river!

The rafts were out on the water ahead of the reopening of Tom Sawyer Island on February 5th, along with the Liberty Square Riverboat.
