A Taste of the Bahamas is Coming to The Edison in Disney Springs This February!

Lots of excitement is coming to Disney Springs.

From the M&M’s store opening soon to a celebration of Black History Month, there’s lots to look forward to. And now, a special culinary event is on the calendar!

On February 25th at 6:30PM, “A Taste of the Bahamas” will come to The Edison. This “intimate evening of creative dishes and craft cocktails” will feature new Executive Chef Deaundra “Dee” Rolle, who will present a mix of traditional flavors from the Bahamas as well as American classics.

A Taste of the Bahamas

The first in a series of chef-driven events, “A Taste of the Bahamas” will allow guests to be transported to the Caribbean while Chef Dee describes the inspiration behind each dish. Here’s the menu:

  • Appetizer: Conch Duo — Conch fritter n’ conch salad with fritter sauce. Savory battered conch fritters with a tangy remoulade sauce paired with a salad shooter
  • Entrée: Steam Snapper Peas n’ RiceSeasoned steamed snapper filet in a braised tomato sauce served over a bed of peas and rice
  • Dessert: Benne Cake Ice Cream — Fresh churned vanilla gelato with brown sugar benne cake pieces folded in and topped with drizzled caramel

Each course will be paired with a hand crafted Rum Runner, Mai Tai, or Daiquiri.

The three-course dinner and beverage pairing costs $76+ per person, and guests must be 21 or older to purchase. There are a limited number of tickets available, so those interested should reserve their seats on the Patina Restaurant Group website as soon as possible.
