NEWS! Disney World Extends Their Temporary Cancellation and Change Fee Policy

Walt Disney World recently reopened after the temporary closure in March due to the global health crisis.

Given the current events, Disney gave guests the option to cancel their vacations and avoid the Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees. The temporary policy was to last through the duration of the closure, before later being extended to October 3rd.

As events unfold, Disney is continuing to change the overall experience at the theme parks and cancel major events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. To accommodate future guests, the cancelation policy has been extended yet again.

The new policy has been extended to include any guest visiting Disney World with a vacation check-in date on or before December 31st. Guests can freely change or cancel their upcoming vacations without being issued any Disney-imposed change or cancellation fees for vacations through this date.
