First Time at Polynesian 2 weeks ago in a DVC Deluxe Garden View Studio. We were on the 2nd floor of Moorea longhouse on the east side of the resort. This is a fabulous resort! The studio slept 5 in 1 queen bed, 1 queen sleeper sofa and 1 pull down single bed for a child. This room had a dual bath (sink/shower & sink/tub-shower/toilet)- So convenient! We were one building away from the quiet pool and a short scenic walk from the Volcano themed “Lava” pool and kids splash area. At this time, food options were limited to Kona Cafe (hard to get a reservation and no walkups), Captain Cooks Counter service (recommend Mobile ordering), walkup Barefoot Pool Bar, and the walkup Pineapple Lanai for Dole Whip! Leisurely walks around the lush tropical resort included views of Cinderella’s Castle, Space Mountain, Grand Floridian Resort. Just next door was the ticket and transportation center. Every afternoon at the main pool, there was music and games and most nights there was a Movie on the grass after pool closure. This is a very relaxing resort which even has lounge chairs on the white sandy beach of Seven Seas Lagoon. We are now very spoiled and am not sure how we will ever stay anywhere else.
