Disneyland Resort has announced their proposal to reopen their theme parks, Downtown Disney, and two of their three hotels in phases this July.

However, while Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel have both been listed to (barring approval) reopen on July 23rd, the website is currently showing them as unavailable to book.
We tried booking dates for both hotels for a variety of dates throughout the remainder of the year, and for each one we were met with the message, “Booking is currently unavailable. We’re working to restore availability as soon as possible. Please check back later.”

While Disneyland did not announce that they would be pausing hotel reservations like Disney World did, it’s possible that that announcement is still forthcoming. Alternatively, it could potentially be a glitch as more guests attempt to book at the hotels.

We will continue to check back for updates and let you know what develops from this situation!
