There's Another New Member of the Disney Family at Animal Kingdom!

Yesterday, Disney introduced us to the newest baby critter born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a porcupette!

But, she is not the only Disney baby we need to welcome into the world now! Today, it was announced that a new baby zebra has also joined the family at Animal Kingdom.

It’s a girl! The Hartmann’s Zebra foal was born early in the morning on March 21st to Heidi. Check out the mother and daughter bonding time in this special video.

According to Dr. Mark Penning, spending quality time like this is important for the baby to imprint on the unique scent and markings of its mother. After they’ve spent a few weeks developing a strong bong, we’ll be able to see Heidi and her baby girl out and about on Kilimanjaro Safaris.
