People get hurt or sick all the time — even in the Most Magical Place on Earth. You trip and scrape your knee or spin too fast and get nauseated. Being at Disney World may be magical, but it can’t stop life’s little accidents from happening.
Lucky for you, when you’re at the parks and feel sick or get hurt, you can head to one of their First Aid Centers for the pick-me-up you need to get back to the fun.

First Aid Centers are located in each theme park and at the two water parks. First Aid Centers have nurses on staff during park hours. These nurses can check your vitals and offer assistance to get you back on your feet (literally, if that’s needed). Seeing the nurse at Disney World’s First Aid Centers is a free service, as are available single-dose medications, single Band-Aids, and (at the nurse’s discretion) other items that are on hand.

First Aid Centers also stock some basic over-the-counter medications (like allergy and motion sickness meds), bottles of sunscreen, lip balm, baby and toddler essentials, and full packs of bandages that you can purchase. You may not find the exact same brand you use at home, but if you’re in a bind, First Aid Centers can be a real time-saver!

So next time you are prepping for your Disney day, know that the First Aid Centers are there if you need them!

I haven’t been to a WDW First Aid Center. However, some years ago, I was experiencing a headache at Universal Studios Florida and went to their first aid place. (My foggy recollection is that I just didn’t realize that stuff like Tylenol actually was available in the park shops, just not displayed.) They gave me some Tylenol, no charge, and the whole experience was quick and professional. I filled out a brief form so they’d know what was done in case things got worse later.
When another headache got me at WDW, this time I knew how things worked and bought some stored-behind-the-counter Tylenol at the Emporium. It was not exactly bargain priced, but eh.
