Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration has been entertaining guests at Walt Disney World since January, but don’t fret if you haven’t had a chance to catch this special event yet, as it will be going strong through September. If you do make it out to Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration, be sure to check out these limited time food, drink, and character offerings!

Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration Eats
If you’re looking for a hearty meal to start your day, head over to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland to indulge in the event exclusive Mickey Burger. This burger is certainly a mouse’s dream, as the Angus patty is covered in macaroni and cheese, American cheese, cheese sauce, flaming hot cheese dust – that is an awful lot of cheese! – and bacon. Just in case you forgot the special event the burger is celebrating, the bun has Mickey’s face seared right into it.

If all that cheese didn’t fill you up (or weigh you down), head on over to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor to grab Minnie’s Kitchen Sink Sundae. This Minnie-centric take on the classic Mickey sundae is served in a bowl made to look like Minnie’s famous polka dotted skirt, and features “two hand-scoops of ice cream topped with whipped cream, cherries, and your choice of hot fudge, peanut butter, or caramel.”

With all that food you’ll need a drink! Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration offers the perfect sipper to quench your thirst: the Mickey Celebration Sipper, complete with birthday hat straw. (Mickey turned 90 in November — but he’s still celebrating!)

Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration Character Meets
In addition to food and drink, Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration offers some outstanding limited time character moments. First and foremost, Mickey and Minnie – wearing their birthday outfits – are available to meet in the Town Square Theater. Be forewarned though, this meet and greet fills up fast, so it might be worth using a FastPass+ so you can say hello.

In addition to Mickey and Minnie, guests can also meet a slew of Long Lost Friends, a.k.a. characters not often seen in the Parks! These characters are near the Town Square flag pole each day, and the list includes Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia, Phineas and Ferb, Chicken Little and Abby Mallard, Robin Hood and Little John, Gideon and Foulfellow, Remy and Emile, and Prince John and Friar Tuck.

Finally, there’s the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It!” Street Party which takes place in Magic Kingdom’s central plaza three times a day. The show features characters including Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Max, Pluto, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Clarice, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, José Carioca, and Panchito exhorting guests to dance and sing with them.

We know these mice can throw a fabulous party, and we’re excited to celebrate Mickey and Minnie all summer long!
