The Disney Cruise Line has continued to grow rapidly and has become an ideal vacation for many Disney fans.

Whether you’ve been on a Disney Cruise before or you’re hoping to voyage on one for the first time, you need to hear about these new rule changes that are hitting all the ships in the fleet. Let’s take a look at all the details!
A Disney Cruise is one of our favorite types of vacations. They’re filled with fun activities and relaxation all in one. You also get to stay in staterooms designed with unique and cute Disney themes, depending on which ship you’re on. As we said, new rule changes are coming to the Disney Cruise Line, and the first one has to do with staterooms.

If you like to put up your own decorations for something like a birthday or anniversary during your trip, Disney Cruise Line is now updating its policy for stateroom door decorating. Decorations will no longer be allowed on nearby hallway walls or ceilings. Guests should also not place anything valuable on their doors that they don’t want to lose.

Don’t worry, there are no changes to the rules for decorating doors or using fish extenders. The decoration changes will become effective on all sailings starting June 3rd. Disney also shared that tape, glue, and other adhesives cannot be used to decorate your door, as they can damage it. Decorations can be magnets only.

Additionally, door decorations cannot play sound, music, or videos, as they can disturb guests.
Inside staterooms, Disney has prohibited over-the-door hanging organizers. According to Disney, these hanging organizers can cause scratches or other damage to stateroom doors and trim.

In addition, Disney Cruise Line is updating its alcohol policy for guests bringing drinks onboard.

Guests 21+ will be limited to ONE bottle of wine per person or 6 beers per person. This is down from the two bottles of wine that were allowed per person. However, Disney is also lowering the corkage fee from $29 to $20. The change will also officially start with sailings departing on June 3rd.
