We Know Where Disney Fans Will Be in 2027

We’re super excited for the summer when the D23 Expo: Ultimate Disney Fan Event takes place in Anaheim, California! The event brings fans exclusive behind-the-scenes looks,  Disney-themed panels, exclusive merchandise, and never-before-heard Disney announcements.

However, we need to take a quick pause from focusing on this upcoming D23 Expo, and focus on a NEW D23 event that has just been announced. This one is in a completely new location, and it is set to make its debut in 2027!

Disney just announced the brand new event, D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which is starting in Singapore in 2027! This will be the first time the event has taken place in Singapore, and Disney said it will be a “one-of-a-kind celebration offering consumers exclusive, first access to the latest in Disney storytelling, creativity, and innovation.”

The Chief Marketing and Brand Officer of the Walt Disney Company, Asad Ayaz, said, “Bringing D23 to Singapore reflects the incredible passion of Disney fans across Asia Pacific and our desire to meet them where they are. D23 Asia will bring these fans together as a community to celebrate the powerful connection they have with our stories, characters, and experiences, and to get an exciting look at what lies ahead.”

The Executive Vice President of Integrated Marketing & APAC Original Strategy of The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific, Carol Choi, added, “Disney has an extraordinary and growing fan base across Asia Pacific, and bringing D23 to Singapore marks a natural evolution in our journey to bringing unforgettable fan experiences to audiences across the diverse region in new and meaningful ways. D23 Asia will offer fans a truly distinctive experience, with exclusive previews of our APAC Originals for Disney+ and the opportunity to hear directly from the creative talent behind our shows.”

This is a huge announcement by Disney, and we can’t wait to see what comes of this new event next year. There haven’t been a ton of details on what next year will look like with D23 Asia. We’re thinking we might not get a ton of details until after this year’s Expo, which is in Anaheim from August 14th to 16th.
