REVIEW: We Waited 45 Minutes For A Breakfast Sandwich And We Have ZERO Regrets!

While we love EPCOT, its breakfast options can be rough. There are very few restaurants open before 11 AM, so lines can get long. There’s only one place we’ve found that we’d wait half an hour for!

Les Halles Boulangerie Pâtisserie

We love stopping by Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie for breakfast. This bakery in the France Pavilion serves French breads and pastries, and turns baguettes and croissants into savory breakfast sandwiches. When we went this morning, we realized there were still two things we hadn’t tried yet!

The Pissaladiere is $6.95. It’s a thick bread topped with tomatoes, olives, Parmesan, and Gruyere Cheese. We were very curious about this one, because the tall, doughy bread looked like focaccia in the bakery case.

Pissaladiere

The sourdough bread was fluffy and acidic. It perfectly complemented the tangy, earthy goat cheese. The tomatoes and olives were mixed into the bread, but weren’t very widespread, so we only got them in a few bites. It’s also topped with some herbs, but we couldn’t taste them much either.

Then we tried the Croissant Sale for $9.75. It’s bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. We love their other croissant sandwich, the Croissant Jambon Fromage (aka the ham and cheese croissant), so this was right up our alley!

Croissant Sale

The croissant was the same one they use for their other sandwiches, always flaky and buttery. The large egg is mixed and fried for a uniform fluffiness. The bacon was salty and crispy for a great crunch. This was a great twist on a bacon, egg, and cheese!
