If you’ve ever been to Disney World with kids, then you know how important playgrounds are. Sometimes, even after a long park day, they’ll still have energy they need to get out!

But if you’re at Disney right now, we have some bad news — one of our favorite playgrounds in Disney World is closed right now!
The Righteous Reef playground at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is closed for maintenance from April 20th to 28th. This playground in the Finding Nemo section of the resort features Squirt with coral-reef slides for little ones. Guests may see or hear maintenance in the Finding Nemo area until the work is complete.

During the closure, Art of Animation guests can head over to the neighboring Disney’s Pop Century Resort to use their playground. From Art of Animation, their playground is a decent walk. To get there:
- Cross the Generation Gap Bridge
- Walk up to the lobby, but stay outside
- Head to the right, towards the ’70s buildings
- Once you hit the Goofy statue, take a right, and the playground will be down the path

While the Righteous Reef Playground is closed, the Schoolyard Spray Ground at Art of Animation will stay open for Finding Nemo-themed play. This colorful splash pad features Nemo’s classmates and more coral-reef decor.

In addition, the Finding Nemo-themed Big Blue Pool will remain open. This is a massive pool with towering jellyfish decor!

If you’re missing Squirt during the closure, don’t worry. You can still say hi to his dad, Crush, at the resort! Plus, you can spot Dory, too.

For under-the-sea-themed drinks and food, The Drop Off Pool Bar will also remain open. For the grown-ups, we love their Piña CoLAVA and Strawberry Margarita. Grab a drink and relax at the pool!

Have you been to The Drop Off Pool Bar? If so, leave a review below!
We hope you’ve found some Finding Nemo fun for your family during the closure. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney World news!
