National Siblings Day takes place on April 10th every year, and while some people don’t even realize it’s come and gone, some members of our team totally sent a quick message to their sibling(s), especially after reading this heartwarming story.

For some of us, maybe we were the ones with dreams of working at/with Disney, or we had a sibling who did. In the case of this family, THREE sisters all had dreams of working at The Most Magical Place on Earth, and now, they ALL do!
Disney just highlighted the Hackett sisters for National Siblings Day, who grew up with a grandmother who worked as a seasonal merchandise at Disney for 27 years! After visiting the parks with her, all three sisters fell in love with the parks, and now all three of them work in different departments as they forge their own careers.

Kate Hackett is a Food and Beverage Coordinator in the parks…

…Brittany Hackett is a Scheduling Specialist…

…and Rachel Hackett is a Character Captain!

They’ve also gotten the chance to perform in the Candlelight Processional, as their grandmother once did. In an interview, they shared that when their paths cross in the parks, it’s even more special, like when they all worked the same event in Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently. That’s not all, either, because two of the girls’ uncles and an aunt also work at Disney World!

We love this story and hearing how the sisters have created such a great bond and love working together at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
