NEWS: Pool at Disney’s Pop Century Resort Will Close Next Week

If you ask a Disney expert about the best value hotel at Disney World, 99% of the time, the answer will be Disney’s Pop Century Resort!

With amenities like the Skyliner and areas themed to different decades, it’s become a fan-favorite over the years. So if you have an upcoming stay planned here, there’s a new closure you need to know about!

From April 13th through late April 2026, the kiddie pool deck at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. Currently, there is no set reopening date for the kiddie pool deck.

If you’re staying at the Pop Century during April, you may see or hear maintenance activity in the area during the day. If you’ve already booked your stay there, you can request a room away from the construction at check-in, but it’s not always guaranteed.

During the Kiddie Pool Deck closure, the Hippy Dippy Pool, Bowling Pool, Computer Pool, and all other resort amenities will remain open for Pop Century resort guests.

Petals Pool Bar will also remain open during the closure. We love their Pina CoLAVA or the Strawberry Margarita to sip on during a pool day! Sometimes we’ll even stop by while on the Skyliner to get a drink – they’re that good.
