REVIEW: The Hot Chocolate We Want To Drink on Toasty Days in Disney World

There are so many great drinks in Disney World, as well as something to satisfy every palate, both alcoholic and not. We’re talking about drinks that go beyond flavored lemonade and coffee that can satisfy you on a warm day in Florida.

Frozen Hot Chocolate

Well, two new such drinks have landed in Disney Springs. We tried them out and can confirm that both are satisfying in their own ways.

First, let’s hop on over to Polite Pig to try the Rye-Rita, a new drink the restaurant launched on National Margarita Day on February 22nd. It’s made with Elijah Craig Rye, Tequila, Fresh Citrus, and Agave Nectar for $13. We loved this unique take on the classic margarita. The rye brings a warmer feeling to the drink as a whole and even gives us fall vibes. The citrus helps balance out the rye. It does come with a large salt rim, so if that’s not your thing, you’ve been warned.

Next up is something that even kids can enjoy: the Seasonal Frozen Hot Chocolate at Goofy’s Candy Co. for $8.99. Now, the drink was supposed to have strawberries in it, but when we ordered it, we were informed that Goofy’s was currently out of strawberries. However, it still tasted delicious, just like hot chocolate, but frozen. The chocolate Glacier base is creamy and rich. The whipped cream balances out that rich flavor.

So rich and chocolatey

There are also some mini marshmallows under the whipped cream, but they get soggy. There were also freeze-dried berries in the drink, but we didn’t get much flavor from them. However, this is a drink that’s refreshing on a hot day when you want hot chocolate without the drink actually being hot. Kids are also going to love it.

We’ll keep an eye out for more new treats in Disney World, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
