The 2 Worst Things We Ate in Disney World This Month

When we’re in Disney World (which is EVERY DAY!), we keep our eyes peeled for all the latest snacks and menu items that are released.

Pumpkin Cheesecake

With it being the fall season and Halloween approaching, there are tons of new snacks that hit the parks this month. However, not all of them were hits. In fact, these were the two WORST snacks we had this month, and we really don’t recommend spending your hard-earned money on either of them.

At Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there are multiple new treats to try that are only available during the party. We found out the hard way though that two of these treats are NOT worth your time, starting with the Beignets from Beyond from Golden Oak Outpost.

Beignets from Beyond

These were described as being light, sweet, and fluffy beignets with powdered sugar and chocolate cookie crumbs served with cookies and cream cheese dipping sauce for $8.79. However, the texture is more shell than fluffy dough, and while the powdered sugar and cookie pieces are cute, they don’t add much beyond sugary sweetness. The dip tasted like cheap store-bought icing, so overall, we recommend skipping.

Yeah, that’s a no for us

Over at Main Street Bakery, the Pumpkin Cheesecake was also a bit of a disappointment.

Pumpkin Cheesecake

The frosting was delicious and the texture of the treat was almost like a mousse as opposed to a regular cheesecake. The graham cracker crust was buttery and stayed together, BUT we didn’t get too much of a pumpkin flavor from this, which defeats a lot of the purpose of the treat. For a fall treat, this just isn’t it.

It’s cute, but doesn’t taste like pumpkin
